In the summer, Rael Nakuzola moved from the A-youth Rot-Weiss Essen to the second team of 1. FSV Mainz 05, but there he quickly rose to become a serious alternative with the first team. After two Bundesliga substitutions, the 19-year-old left-back is now officially a professional, and the 05ers gave him a contract on Thursday.
