The Canadian national team is heading to the 2026 World Cup at home with Jesse Marsch as coach. The 50-year-old, who briefly coached RB Leipzig in 2021 and has been without a job since leaving Leeds United in February 2023, succeeds Mauro Biello. The latter had taken over on an interim basis last summer for Tim Herdman, who had moved to MLS club Toronto FC.
