Middlesbrough FC have signed Sebastian Berhalter from MLS finalist Vancouver Whitecaps. The 25-year-old US international, who played in all five of the USA’s games at the 2026 World Cup and contributed a goal and an assist in the 3-2 defeat to Turkey, signed a four-year contract with the Championship club until June 2030 but lost 3-1 to Messi club Inter Miami.
