Karl Marius Aksum is considered the “mastermind” behind the sensational championship of the Swedish village club Mjällby AIF, and now the doctor of science has been promoted to the new head coach. The 35-year-old Norwegian replaces Anders Torstensson, who takes over the position of Technical Director. The club announced this on Tuesday. Aksum will take up his job in January, and in the summer of 2026, Mjällby will enter the Champions League in the second qualifying round.
