David Moyes is to leave English Conference League winners West Ham United at the end of his contract, which runs until the end of the season. The London club announced the “amicable agreement” at the start of the week, one day after the Hammers’ 5-0 defeat in the city duel with Chelsea FC. Julen Lopetegui is rumored to be the successor to Moyes, who has been on the bench for West Ham for the second time since the start of 2020 and failed to beat German champions Bayer Leverkusen in the quarter-finals of the Europa League this season.
