Defender Jonas David had recently trained with MSV Duisburg for a few days, but the clubless central defender will not receive a contract. Sporting director Chris Schmoldt told the “WAZ” that a transfer “does not make 100 percent sense at this point in time”, although David has “done really well with us”. The 26-year-old has fought his way back onto the pitch after a cruciate ligament rupture last October in the service of SSV Ulm 1846 Fußball and is looking for a club.
