Karlsruher SC had already shown an interest in Cologne’s talented midfielder Meiko Wäschenbach last summer. Now, KSC is making a second approach to the 20-year-old, who has only played for the regional league team so far. This could be a win-win situation: FC managing director Christian Keller could still collect a small transfer fee in view of Wäschenbach’s contract expiring in the summer and secure a resale fee for the Geißböcke.
