They don’t lose often, but they don’t exactly win game after game either! Nice and Lille are among the top teams in Ligue 1, but they are still a long way from the top. They face each other directly on Sunday.
Not easy to make an accurate prediction here! In my Nice Lille betting tip, I’ll tell you what makes me take a relatively high risk and say: This duel will (once again) end without a winner!
In Lille, the last notes of the Champions League anthem are slowly fading away. The Doges alternate between the Champions League and Ligue 1, and that’s not easy these days.
Why? Quite simply because the motivation cannot be the same for all opponents, of course. I mention this for a very simple reason: Lille is surging forward in the CL, whirling Europe into confusion.

In St. Etienne they won 1-0 and in Monaco they played 0-0. They won against Lens (2-0), Le Havre (3-0) and Reims (2-0) while keeping a clean sheet. At the same time, it is noticeable that the number of goals is not exactly going up.
At Betano, the “Under 2.5 goals” bet could therefore be worthwhile for you, with odds of 1.78. Of course, Lille are once again benefiting this season from the fact that Jonathan David is causing trouble in the attack.

1-0, 2-1, 1-1, 1-1, 0-0, the last five are emblematic of this. Before that, there was the 8-0 runaway win against St. Etienne, so in very rare cases, Nice can really turn it on – if they want to.
With nine goals conceded, this also applies to the Doggen, both teams have a really strong defense. At home, Monaco were beaten, against PSG they got a 1-1 draw. With their own fans behind them, Nice should never be underestimated!
Lille or Nice, which one is just ahead of the other? I see both teams as fairly evenly matched, and the results are similar. With the Aiglons, of course, home advantage caught my eye.
On the other hand, Lille have not been beaten in a long time and have already given Real Madrid, Juventus Turin and Atletico a run for their money in the Champions League. The last two direct duels? They didn’t even have a winner.
