Eintracht Braunschweig has responded to Frederik Jäkel’s serious injury by signing Patrick Nkoa, who was without a club, until the end of the season. The 26-year-old center back played for third-division club Alemannia Aachen until the summer, but turned down an offer to extend his contract in order to prove himself at a higher level. This opportunity has now presented itself to Nkoa shortly before the end of the transfer window.
