The move to Ligue 1 had already been hinted at for a few days, but now it’s official: Roberto de Zerbi is the new coach at Olympique Marseille. The Italian has signed a three-year contract with the club, which finished eighth in the table last season, as the club announced on Saturday evening. De Zerbi had previously led Brighton & Hove Albion to surprising success in the Premier League, but was looking for a new challenge after two years in England. His successor at Brighton will be Fabian Hürzeler.
