The move has been on the cards for months, but now it’s official: Can Uzun is leaving 1. FC Nürnberg to play for Eintracht Frankfurt in the Bundesliga. The 18-year-old striker has signed a contract with the club until the summer of 2029, as the club announced on Tuesday. Director of Sport Markus Krösche praised the German-Turkish player, who scored 19 goals in 32 competitive matches for the club last season, as “one of the greatest talents in Germany.”
