A year ago, VfL Osnabrück lost one of its biggest forward talents from the NLZ: Union Berlin paid a six-figure transfer fee for U-17 international Jakob Wiehe. Now another home-grown talent, Peter Remmert, is on the verge of a transfer – to Schalke 04. However, Royal Blue would not have to pay any money because the 18-year-old center forward does not have a contract beyond the U-19s. According to media reports, Remmert is set to receive a four-year professional contract in Gelsenkirchen
