Borussia Mönchengladbach has provided Tiago Pereira Cardoso (18) with a professional contract. The Bundesliga club announced this on Monday. Pereira Cardoso is currently the captain and first-choice goalkeeper of the Gladbach U19 team. He was named in the professional squad for the first time for the away game in Frankfurt. The initial contract period has not been announced, but junior director Mirko Sandmöller speaks of a “long-term” extension.
