Champions League, Saturday, 05/31/2025, 9:00 p.m.
Inter Milan and Paris Saint-Germain are facing each other in a competitive match for the first time – and it’s in the biggest game in European club football. At the end of tonight’s premiere, we are predicting a jubilant French victory.
We too are asking ourselves: “Who will win the Champions League final in Munich?” But although Paris has been hungry for the trophy for years, after careful analysis I see a different option than the clearly more promising PSG Inter Milan tip.
After Milan recently knocked Barca, the official top favorites, out of the competition, Simone Inzaghi’s team should now at least not lose the Champions League final within regular time.
Unbridled morale, a defense that has been unbeatable for much of this Champions League season, and a club record goalscorer? In my opinion, that’s a perfect combination – which is why it’s very unlikely that the French favorites will sail through!
Although… when I look at the current promotion from NEO.bet, I could almost start to have second thoughts. For new customers, the betting provider is pumping up the PSG odds to an almost unbelievable level.
So if you’re backing the official favorites today, you can’t really pass up this offer. As a die-hard expert on Italian soccer, and therefore also on Inter’s qualities, I’m sticking to my original Champions League final prediction!
It’s clear: experience speaks for Inter Milan. The Nerazzurri are in the final of Europe’s premier club competition for the seventh time – they have already lifted the trophy three times (1964, 1965, 2010).
Although they narrowly lost the last final 0-1 to Manchester City in 2023, the mere fact that they are now back in the final underlines their consistency at the highest level.
An additional motivational boost: after Inter finally lost the league title to Napoli a few days ago, they will now fight to save their season in the royal final.
For Paris Saint-Germain, who are in the Champions League final for only the second time (after 2020), it will also be a mental challenge.
PSG may have great individual talent, but when it comes to experience and nerves on the big stage, Inter undoubtedly has the edge.
Will this experience make the difference? According to my PSG Inter prediction, it’s quite possible. Because in the final, it’s often not just the legs that decide the outcome, but also the head.

The bookmakers’ prediction
The PSG Inter Milan odds from German bookmakers show a duel between two heavyweights with very sharp blades: Paris goes into the race as the slight favorite with odds of 2.20, mainly thanks to its individual class (albeit only on paper).
The draw is at 3.35, which suggests a close and tactical game. Inter Milan is listed as the underdog at 3.40, but it is precisely their clinical style of play that makes the Italians extremely dangerous.
These PSG Inter Milan odds are crying out for excitement until the last minute in the Champions League final prediction.
AI prediction PSG vs Inter Milan: ChatGPT’s prediction
ChatGPT’s AI prediction for PSG vs Inter Milan provides three suggestions, which I can largely endorse – with a few minor comments, of course.
For the bold tip, the AI suggests “Lautaro Martínez to score” at odds of around 3.20. And yes – that fits!
The Argentine is currently not only a leader at Inter, but also their most reliable goalscorer. When someone scores for the Nerazzurri, it’s usually him. A bet with clear logic.
A little less risky is “Inter wins the UCL” at odds of around 2.30. Given PSG’s individual class, this may not be entirely without risk, but Inter brings experience, routine, and a functioning system to the table.
ChatGPT therefore clearly answers the question “Who will win the title?” in the CL final prediction with Inter! If the Milanese keep the game open for a long time, I also think they are capable of a late knockout victory.
Meanwhile, the safest bet is “Both teams to score.” At 1.70, it’s perhaps not a value bet, but it’s definitely realistic. PSG are unlikely to fail to score, and Inter also have enough weapons in attack. A 1-1 or 2-2 draw is entirely possible – that’s my pick!
Analysis: PSG vs Inter Milan
Coach Simone Inzaghi’s prioritization of the Champions League is evident in the fact that he regularly fielded a B team for weeks in the tight Serie A title race. The focus was clearly on the international competition.
After the 2-0 win against Como on the last matchday – which ultimately proved meaningless because Napoli won against Cagliari at the same time – his team had a full week to recover before the final. Whether that will be enough remains to be seen.
Paris, on the other hand, was able to slow down the pace in Ligue 1 much earlier. The title defense was wrapped up early, which could give the team a clear advantage in preparing for the final.
Incidentally, there is little to suggest that Inter will sit back and insist on classic catenaccio in the final – on the contrary.
The Milanese have already scored 26 goals in this Champions League season – their best tally in a major European competition, alongside the 2002/03 season.
And take note: Inter have managed to score at least twice in all six knockout games – a clear sign of their current attacking strength.
Inter are currently playing much less cautiously than the cliché would suggest. Instead, the team is pushing forward with power and determination.
Anyone expecting a purely defensive battle could be in for a fairly offensive surprise on Saturday evening.
Odds analysis
Over 2.5 goals – odds 1.90
A sound tip after logging in to Winamax: Inter are usually solid defensively, but the game is likely to be more open against an offensively strong Paris side. A 2-1 or 3-1 win for the Nerazzurri is quite conceivable – and it is precisely such results that make the 1.90 odds look really attractive.
1st goal Inter Milan – odds 2.35
This bet definitely has appeal. Inter often start at a fast pace and use the first few minutes of big games to make an early statement. Against Paris, a quick 1-0 lead could once again make all the difference – and the odds are very decent for that.
Anyone who combines at least three selections using the bet configurator and achieves total odds of 2.00 (or higher) can also earn a 50% Bet365 odds boost.
Inter with a wealth of experience!
Inter Milan brings an impressive amount of experience to the table – and that could be crucial for my Champions League final prediction.
Unlike Paris Saint-Germain, the Italians are relying on experienced players: players over the age of 30 have played around 43% of all minutes in this Champions League season.
Their legs are likely to be heavy after an intense season, but the statistics speak for themselves: Inter have only been behind for a little over 1% of the total playing time in this season’s Champions League, and never for more than 370 seconds at a time.
Many of these experienced players were also on the pitch in the 2023 final defeat against Manchester City – and are likely to remember it well. Experience alone does not win games, but in a final like this, where every detail counts, it could be the deciding factor.
So I answer the potential question “Who will win after 120 minutes?” in the same way as “Who will win on penalties?” – with “Internazionale”!
Are the bookmakers overestimating PSG?
Is Paris really justified in being the favorites? This question certainly arises when you take a look at the international record of French clubs.
After all, French clubs have won only two of their 15 European Cup finals to date – an alarmingly poor record. In the Champions League, they have won only one of seven finals.
The Ligue 1 clubs don’t fare any better in the history of the UEFA Cup: not a single victory in five attempts. Only once has a French team triumphed in the now defunct European Cup Winners’ Cup – PSG itself in 1996.
Given this poor track record on the big stage, the question arises as to whether PSG’s status as favorites on the betting markets on Saturday is perhaps not so unassailable after all…
Incidentally, anyone looking to place a goal bet on PSG Inter should take a closer look at Lautaro Martínez, as already mentioned.
The Argentine striker has not only scored in the round of 16, quarter-finals and semi-finals of this year’s Champions League season – he is also on the verge of joining an exclusive club.
Only five players have previously managed to score in all these knockout rounds plus the final: Lampard, Milito, Messi, Ronaldo and Mané – all legends.
What’s more, Lautaro currently has nine goals in this competition. With one more goal, he would be the first Inter player ever to score double digits in a single European Cup season – not even Adriano or Vieri managed that.
My PSG Inter Milan tip for the CL final in Munich:
When two top teams like PSG and Inter meet, fans can look forward to an offensive spectacle – both teams are brimming with quality in attack. Nevertheless, I’m leaning towards betting on the Italians in this duel.
Inter seem hungrier overall, after all, they had to take a step back in the league recently in order to go all out internationally. What’s more, the Milanese not only bring power and pace to the table, but are also on par in terms of play.
And the odds on an Inter win are more lucrative than those on Paris anyway.
That’s why my Champions League final tip is: Inter will survive the regular 90 minutes unbeaten!
