The Dutch Cup is entering the hot phase! While we are already experiencing the big final, the Super Bowl, in the NFL at the weekend, my PSV Eindhoven Feyenoord tip in the KNVB Cup is the top duel in the quarter-finals on Wednesday evening.
The two most offensive teams in the Eredivisie face each other, and at NEO.bet I am clearly betting on both teams scoring over 2.5 goals. In the next few lines, I’ll tell you what makes this a spectacular cup evening.
The title defense in the Dutch league will be tough for PSV Eindhoven. After all, Ajax Amsterdam has regained its strength, has won five games in a row and, with one game less, can still take first place.
Feyenoord is not in the running for the championship, but is instead fighting to qualify for the Champions League again. It is currently only in fifth place. Like PSV, Rotterdam had also successfully qualified for the Champions League this season.

Eindhoven is clearly favored at home with values of around 1.60. So Rotterdam needs a cream day (4.60) to prevent the hosts from progressing. It is also considered quite unlikely that it will be a draw after 90 minutes: 4.15.

However, PSV have only dropped two points at home in the national league, drawing 2-2 with Alkmaar. Eindhoven have won all their other home matches, scoring a whopping 37 goals in ten games.
We have also seen an average of around four goals per match in Rotterdam’s away games.
With 393, PSV are well ahead in first place in terms of shots on target. Feyenoord come in second. At the same time, these are also the teams that concede the fewest chances.
The last few duels had plenty to offer. It was rarely as one-sided as the 3-0 in the league first leg for PSV. Incidentally, it was only the result that was clear. In terms of chances and the course of the game, it was also a match between equals.
The Super Cup game in August was a really close game, with eight goals and a penalty shootout in the end, with the team from the harbor city prevailing. About a year ago, we saw the penultimate league match, which was also a turbulent 2-2 draw.
I definitely think something like that is possible again on Wednesday. Incidentally, if I had to choose a bet in the initial market, it would be the double chance X2, for which we get a nice 2.25 in the top sports betting apps.
PSV is currently struggling a lot defensively, having conceded at least two goals seven times in a row. If the streak continues, three goals would be needed against the other Big Three club to solve the task within regular time.
