The 2024 NHL Playoffs represent the final culmination of a field hockey season that is coming to a close and has been full of memorable moments.
The Floridians tied the series at 2-2 in the Eastern Conference Finals yesterday. Here’s hoping my Panthers Rangers Game 5 betting tip will give me a similarly great payday as it did yesterday.
The Panthers won 3-2 in overtime yesterday to even the series at home. And with a clear 40:23 shots on goal ratio, this success was well deserved!

Watch out: Florida’s power play percentage is now 5 for 15, while New York has only been successful once on 11 attempts. This efficiency on the power play made the difference
Adam Fox hasn’t shown his usual form on offense so far, but was strong at times in Game 4 and assisted on the Rangers’ first two goals.
Lafrenière’s tying goal in the third period was the result of a typical “Fox spin move” where he shook off Lorentz and played a backhand pass to Lafrenière, who knocked the puck behind Bobrovsky and into the net.
Fox had only collected one scoring point in the previous seven games and just scored his first multi-point game in these playoffs, making him the next Rangers candidate on my list for a possible scorer bet at Bet365 after Lafreniéres.
A single bet on the Floridians to win the second period is another effective way to get the German bookmakers to pay out a nice profit, given the experience of Game 4.
The Panthers won because they came back strongly in the second period and New York had no answers. Although the Rangers played strong defense in the first period and forced Florida to take shots from distance, this changed fundamentally after the first intermission.
The Panthers took advantage of the space below the Hashmarks and benefited from two power plays. Bennett’s equalizer came three seconds after Lindgren’s return from the penalty box, and Verhaeghe’s goal on the next power play gave Florida a 2-0 win in the third period.

Conclusion: The Florida Panthers could soon take a 3-2 lead against the New York Rangers. After a dramatic overtime power play goal by Aleksander Barkov in Game 4, they are certainly motivated to the max.
Igor Shesterkin initially saved the game for New York in overtime with 37 saves. Nevertheless, the Panthers dominated proceedings in the second period in particular, led by players like Sam Bennett and Carter Verhaeghe, who were successful on the power play.
With players like Blake Wheeler celebrating his comeback and the momentum on their side, the Panthers have a good chance of winning the series.
