According to a report in the “Bild”, the two third division clubs Hansa Rostock and Erzgebirge Aue are apparently interested in Regionalliga top scorer Erik Weinhauer of FC Carl Zeiss Jena, who leads the scoring charts in the Northeast division with 13 goals. The 23-year-old only moved from FC Rot-Weiß Erfurt to their Thuringian rivals before the start of the current season. Weinhauer’s contract with FCC runs until 2026, but the former U-national player is said to have an escape clause.
