Rosenboom extends prematurely in Kiel

Rosenboom, Lasse

+ Holstein Kiel

KSV Holstein have prematurely extended the contract of center-back Lasse Rosenboom, which was originally set to run until 2026. The 23-year-old, who joined Kiel from SV Werder Bremen’s second team in the summer of 2023, established himself with the first team during the final phase of the past season and thus played his part in the club’s promotion to the Bundesliga. This season, Rosenboom made 17 appearances in the Bundesliga and scored one goal in the 5-1 win against Augsburg. In the DFB Cup, he turned the game around in round 1 against Alemannia Aachen after coming on as a substitute in the 79th minute (3-2), and he also came off the bench for the subsequent 3-0 defeat in Koln.
