Lucas Brumme’s contract with Rot-Weiss Essen expires at the end of the season. Talks are underway regarding an extension, but the “WAZ” reported on Tuesday that the full-back had rejected an initial offer from Essen. Hansa Rostock are also interested in the 25-year-old. RWE will now have to make a better offer to keep the top performer beyond the summer.
