The competition in RWE’s offense is to be further increased. One candidate that the Essen club is looking at is Joseph Boyamba (28) from second division club SV Elversberg. After 25 appearances last season (only one of which was in the starting eleven) and three goals, Boyamba’s prospects of playing time with the Saarland club are not too good. Although he has been in the squad for all three competitive matches so far, he was only substituted in the DFB Cup (7:0 at Oberliga club VfV Hildesheim). RWE coach Dabrowski could at least imagine the former Schalke and Dortmund player at Hafenstrasse: “An exciting player with special qualities in one-on-one situations. ”
