Rot-Weiss Essen have once again extended the expiring contract with Thomas Eisfeld. The 31-year-old midfielder will thus enter his fourth season at Hafenstrasse. In the current season, the former Bochum player, who has made 116 second division appearances in his career, played 16 games in the 3rd division, in which he scored four goals.
