Schalke summer schedule 2024: Training starts on July 10
The Schalke 2024 summer schedule kicked off on June 24 and 25. Coach Karel Geraerts welcomed his team with the obligatory performance diagnostics at Medicos.
The first day of training in this year’s summer preparations took place on June 26, in the middle of the 2024 European Championships.
After a week of training, the first of Schalke’s five 2024 test matches is also on the agenda
The first Schalke test match will take place on July 3 (18:00) against SSVg Velbert. The match will be played at Im Stadion Ratingen.
Three days later, on July 6, the next date on the Schalke summer schedule is already on the agenda. The Royal Blues will take part in a tournament in Meppen.
The two fourth-division teams Meppen and Kickers Emden will open the tournament at 2 p.m. in a 45-minute “everyone against everyone” format. At 3 p.m., S04 will take on Kickers Emden, followed by the clash with SV Meppen at 4 p.m.
Schalke training camp in Mittersill
From July 8 to 14, FC Schalke will be attending a training camp in Mittersill, Austria.
In addition to tactical training and fitness sessions, the Schalke 2024 summer schedule also includes two test matches during this period.
On July 10 (18:00), the Royal Blues will test against FC Midtjylland from Denmark and on July 13 (16:00) the next Schalke 2024 test match will be against Dynamo Kiev

After returning from the training camp, Schalke are entering the final phase of the 2024 Schalke summer schedule.
The next Schalke test match is scheduled for July 18 (Thursday). The opponent is SC Verl, which will be played from 18:30 in the Sportclub Arena in Verl.
After the “Schalke Day” on July 21 with an autograph session and “Meet & Greet” with the players, the dress rehearsal before the start of the new 2024/25 season will take place on Wednesday, July 24.
Schalke – Twente Enschede (24.7., 18:30) is the last of Schalke’s five test matches in the summer of 2024. The venue is the Evonik-Sportpark in Marl.

In addition to the training camp in Austria and several test matches, the Schalke 2024 summer schedule already includes the first competitive match dates.
The first competitive match is scheduled for August 17. On this day, the Royal Blues will play their DFB Cup first round match at VfR Aalen.
