Since 1 July, defender Michael Schultz has been without a club after two seasons at Rot-Weiss Essen. The 33-year-old central defender is currently keeping fit at former club Viktoria Köln. Initially “completely non-binding”, according to “Revier-Sport”. But it cannot be ruled out that it could become more. Currently, the third-division club from the “schäl Sick” has four central defenders under contract. Schultz once played 75 games for Viktoria, making a total of 203 appearances in the 3rd division.
