The last game of the 15th matchday of the La Liga is on Monday evening. Sevilla welcomes Osasuna. The guests have not won their last two games, were outclassed by Real Madrid, among others, and played 2-2 against Villarreal.
Now they are going to Sevilla. Will the defense hold up better this time? In terms of offensive qualities, the Andalusians cannot keep up with their past opponents, but a draw is likely at least for the former perennial winner of the Europa League.

Osasuna, on the other hand, are at the other end of the table in this category. What’s more, Osasuna have allowed the third-most shots on target. Sevilla also have the better numbers here.
The better form, especially at home, the better statistics and also in terms of the squad, I see Sevilla ahead. Overall, the squad has recently lost quality over the pandemic years, but there are significantly more stars in the hosts’ team.
Apart from Chidera Ejuke and Tanguy Nianzou, everyone is there. Osasuna is even completely injury-free.
Why I want to hedge the X in my bet, by the way, is partly because both duels in the previous season ended in draws. A 0-0 was followed by a 1-1 in Seville.
However, Sevilla’s last victory in this duel was quite a while ago, we have to go back to the 2021/2022 season. Back then, the FC celebrated a 2-0 victory.
