FC Sion continues to expand its joint future with its successful coach Didier Tholot. As the Swiss first division club announced, the 62-year-old has committed himself to the Valais club until June 2029. Tholot is currently in his fourth term in office (after 2003, 2009 and 2015). With 250 competitive games on the sidelines, he now holds the club’s internal record. His track record – two cup victories and the 2024 title in the second-tier Challenge League – underlines his importance in Valais.
