New addition to the Swiss coaching team: Davide Calla will follow in the footsteps of Giorgio Contini (coach of Young Boys since December) and act as national team coach Murat Yakin’s right-hand man in future. The 40-year-old will initially join the national team on a temporary basis for the international match window in March, while continuing in his current role as assistant coach at FC Basel. From 1 June, Calla, who specializes in the offensive and set pieces, will then focus fully on the national team.
