As a 12-year-old, he was already in the squad for the U16 selection in the 2013/14 season and played in the national schoolboy league. He scored more than one goal per game in both seasons.

Moritz Seider’s stats in the NHL have been particularly impressive in recent seasons.
In each of his first three seasons, he was on the ice for 82 games. The best numbers in Moritz Seider’s NHL career so far come from his premiere season. In 2021-22, he recorded 43 assists. He also scored 7 goals.
