Tottenham – Bournemouth Tip Premier League, Matchday 3 on Saturday, 08/30/25 at 4:00 p.m.
After a mixed preseason (2 wins in 6 games), Tottenham are suddenly a top team at the start of the new season. Two clean-sheet wins against Burnley and Manchester City later, the Spurs are in second place in the table ahead of the third Premier League matchday and now want to follow up against Bournemouth.
And in my Tottenham Bournemouth prediction, I actually see the Lilywhites as having the best chance of picking up another three points. My bet on “Tottenham to win & over 1.5 goals” at Bet-at-home (odds approx. 1.90) is clearly banking on the trend continuing.
However, if you want to do without all the bells and whistles, you can simply go for a Spurs win as an alternative tip. This bet also manages to exceed the 1.50 mark at around 1.75.
My Tottenham Bournemouth tip: Spurs win & over 1.5 goals
These are the arguments for my tip:
- Tottenham has started the season with two wins and a goal difference of 5:0.
- Bournemouth has won only one of its last seven games.
- AFC has conceded a total of eight goals in its last two away games.
Tottenham vs. Bournemouth AI predictions:
Who’s sticking their head out of my closet? That’s right, ChatGPT! The old tin can is serving up its very own Tottenham Bournemouth AI prediction – divided into three risk areas.
In my opinion, ChatGPT is going a little too far with the high risk prediction. “Tottenham win with a -2 handicap” offers strong odds of around 5.30. However, I’m leaning more towards a 2-0 or 3-1 result for this match.
Predicted chance of winning:
| Tottenham win |
Draw |
Bournemouth win |
| 56% |
23% |
21% |
With medium risk, the AI goes for the tip “Over 3.5 goals.” And here, too, I can’t fully agree. After Spurs’ recent successes, Bournemouth will play more defensively and not let themselves be blown off the pitch. So four goals are by no means a foregone conclusion.
The lower risk is more interesting. Here, ChatGPT selects “Over 2.5 goals.” The odds in the Bet-at-home app are around 1.60, which is reasonable and offers sufficient value given the starting position. Don’t forget: AFC already put up resistance in their first away game of the new season, losing 2-4 in Liverpool.
What you need to consider when betting on Tottenham vs. Bournemouth
- Tottenham has scored a total of seven goals in its last three games.
- Bournemouth lost their first away game of the season 4-2 to Liverpool.
- Across all competitions, AFC have suffered three defeats in their last five Premier League games.
- Last season, Spurs had to settle for a 2-2 draw against Bournemouth at home.
- At least four goals have been scored in each of Spurs’ last five home games against AFC.
