Sweeny, on the other hand, brings a fantastic court coverage, acts and will keep the rallies flat to keep Darderi exactly to force these energy-sapping unforced errors.
As soon as Sweeny makes the start of the set tight and Darderi gets into long rallies , the emotional balance of the favorite quickly turns negative.
My tip: I bet on the sensational Cloup!
US Open prediction today: Zheng – Gea (20:00)
The American Zheng has the New York audience behind him and is bursting after his thrilling victories over Fabian Marozsán and Bu Yunchaokete, only so with self-confidence.
Especially with his first serve, Zheng scores almost at will and also pulls the trigger uncompromisingly from the half-court position.

But as soon as the match drags on and lasts for four or five sets, Tien has a clear advantage.
He is simply fit enough for such a mud fight, knows the conditions inside and out and adapts great to his opponent. The longer the game lasts, the sooner the victory goes to him.
My tip: At the beginning, the Czech is better!
US Open tips tonight: Zverev – Tabilo (02:30 a.m.)
This is absolutely not a foregone conclusion for Zverev. If he continues to wobble like this as recently and Tabilo has had a cream day, the Chilean has had enough Great to really hurt him – much more than Zverev’s first two Opponents.
And since the German has already had to go into the deciding set twice I’m indeed tempted to tap on Tabilo here, since the risk-return ratio is simply bombastic good!
My tip: The 6 win rate for Tabilo is pretty rich!
