Aidan Liu leaves FC Viktoria 1889 Berlin for HNK Sibenik from the Croatian first division. The 24-year-old defender is taking the next step in his professional career at the Himmelblaue’s partner club. The US-American has made 46 regional league appearances for the Berlin club since July 2023. Viktoria will certainly miss their former defensive boss, but sporting director Massud Khaleqi is positive: “The transfer of Aidan Liu to Croatia shows once again how attractive Viktoria is for young players, as our club is part of the strong network of SEH Sports & Entertainment Holding.” Khaleqi adds: “With Austria Klagenfurt in the Austrian Bundesliga and HNK Sibenik, there are two clubs that keep a very close eye on how the boys develop. If they stand out in Berlin, the doors are open for them to take the next step. “
