Things are not going particularly well for Manchester United under Ruben Amorim either. The Portuguese has been head coach of the Red Devils for about a month now, has since won at least two of the five games, including the Europa League match against Bodö/Glimt.

The 2-0 win against PAOK and the victory against Bodö/Glimt have significantly improved the situation in the Europa League. The Red Devils’ aim is to advance directly to the round of 16. To do that, they need to get three points in Pilsen.

The last league title was two and a half years ago, and Viktoria is currently in second place behind Club Slavia Prague, who are already out in front. However, their own record is also strong. After 18 match days, they had only lost twice.
In the meantime, Pilsen has not been beaten in seven games, but they have not kept a clean sheet in four matches. I definitely think Manchester United can score two goals, the Red Devils are in a completely different league to the competition.
None of the previous Europa League opponents were of Manchester United caliber either. Viktoria will have to have a great day and the guests from the UK will have to offer a lot again to get anything out of this game.
Conclusion: I am sure that Pilsen has a difficult evening ahead of them on Thursday. However, I wouldn’t bet against the Czechs suffering their first Europa League defeat, as the Manchester United construct is still too fragile for me.
Except for the game against Arsenal, the Red Devils looked very good going forward. And now they face an opponent who definitely doesn’t have Premier League quality.
