Silberberger, Thomas
– Wolfsberger AC
+ without a club
Five league defeats in a row were too many: Wolfsberger AC has parted ways with coach Thomas Silberberger (53). Manfred Schmid (55), who already coached the Carinthians from March 2023 to the summer of 2024, is back at the Austrian Bundesliga club. On Saturday, Wolfsberg will face Schmid’s former club Hartberg. Silberberger, on the other hand, took up his job with the Wolves in April as the successor to German coach Ismail Atalan, but only won six in 19 league games.
