Things didn’t work out with Energie Cottbus, but now goalkeeper Moritz Schulze is reportedly on the radar of third-division rivals Waldhof Mannheim. According to the Rhein-Neckar-Zeitung newspaper, the 24-year-old, who most recently played for SpVgg Greuther Fürth in the second division, is set to undergo a trial with the Buwe. The situation surrounding last season’s number one, Jan-Christoph Bartels, remains unclear. His contract has expired, but Mannheim wants to keep him and talks are ongoing.
