Last Wednesday, kicker reported that VfL Wolfsburg had exercised its option to sign Denis Vavro (29). As of Monday, it is now official: the Slovakian center back is now under contract with the Wolves until the summer of 2027. He joined the club from FC Copenhagen in late summer 2024.
