Wrexham – Hull Tip EFL Cup, 1st Round on Tuesday, 12.08.25 at 8:45 p.m.
Wrexham is aiming high! Thanks to prominent support, the rising star from Wales has made a real dash through the English league system in recent years, and it’s not supposed to end in the Championship!
Now the second division club is knocking on the door of the Premier League, and the first deep runs in various cup competitions are set to follow.
According to my Wrexham Hull tip, you would be well advised not to bet against the “Red Dragons” on Tuesday. In fact, I’m not going to a top-notch bookmaker with the exact opposite intention for nothing!
Wrexham vs. Hull AI predictions:
I wouldn’t necessarily recommend placing soccer bets in combination with the Wrexham Hull AI prediction. I took a close look at the AI assistant’s suggestions and placed several counter bets for good reason.
“Wrexham win with HC -1” at 5.20 doesn’t really convince me. Wrexham is more likely to win at home without conceding than by a large margin, so I would prefer a clean sheet bet!
Predicted chance of winning:
| Wrexham to win |
Draw |
Hull win |
| 38.4% |
28.6% |
33% |
“Over 2.5 goals” at 2.02 also seems a little off to me. Hull has not broken this mark in 10 of its last 11 competitive games, so caution is advised. A 1-0 or 2-0 win for the hosts seems much more likely to me!
“Double chance 1X” at 1.42 is ultimately the only sensible AI tip for me. Despite the narrow 1-2 defeat at the start of the season, Wrexham usually put in a solid performance in front of their home crowd, which should secure at least a draw.
What you need to consider when betting on Wrexham vs. Hull
- 10 of the last 11 competitive games Hull has played in have not seen more than 2.5 goals scored.
- Hull won the last meeting between these two sides in 2005 by 2-1.
- Each of Wrexham’s last 6 home wins in this competition has been a clean sheet victory.
- In the last two editions, Wrexham has always reached at least the 4th round of this competition.
