The Turkish national team has a new coach. As the national football association announced on Tuesday, Sergen Yalcin will succeed the sacked Vincenzo Montella. The 53-year-old coach has already worked for various Turkish club teams, most recently coaching Istanbul’s top club Besiktas until last May. As national coach, Yalcin has signed a four-year contract until 2030.
