He played no role at all in the current season, making only two appearances for the regional league team. Now Nikola Soldo and 1. FC Köln have terminated their joint employment relationship prematurely. The 24-year-old center back joined the club from Lokomotiva Zagreb in late summer 2022 for €1.5 million. His contract would have run until the summer of 2025.
