Coach Markus Högner will leave SGS Essen at the end of the season for BVB. As the leaders of the Westfalenliga, the Dortmund women are well on their way to playing in the third division next year. It has not yet been decided who will succeed Högner in Essen. At BVB, the 57-year-old will take over from Thomas Sulewski.
