Martín Demichelis is about to become coach of RCD Mallorca. According to reports, talks between the Argentine coach and the Spanish first division club, which parted ways with Jagoba Arrasate only a few days ago, are well advanced. In Spanish media, a contract until the end of the season is being discussed, Mallorca is currently in the first relegation position in La Liga. The former Bayern defender has so far coached various Munich youth teams, the Argentine club River Plate and, most recently, the Mexican club Monterrey. The 45-year-old has been looking for a club since May 2025.
