Despite the expiring contract, SpVgg Greuther Fürth has not yet said goodbye to the versatile but injury-prone Marco John. The highly talented 24-year-old, who was repeatedly set back due to injury, therefore underlined his value to the team in just ten games this season. Apparently, an injury has now been diagnosed again. Sporting managing director Daniel Meyer told the “Fürther Nachrichten”: “When a final assessment has been made from a medical point of view, we want to sit down together and see if and in what form we can support him. That’s the promise we made to him.” Currently, it is unclear when John will be able to play again.
