As “L’Equipe” reports, Dino Toppmöller is already facing dismissal after six games at RC Lens. The former Frankfurt coach only took over the job this summer and didn’t really make a false start: Toppmöller picked up four points from four league games – after beating PSG in the Supercup – plus a 3-2 win in the Champions League opener at Slavia Prague. One reason for the resignation is said to be the situation around Toppmöller’s long-time assistant coach Nelson Morgado, who was released by the club on Monday evening. Toppmöller apparently did not want to accept this intervention in his staff. Lens, reigning cup winners in France, will visit AS Monaco on Friday.
