Tennis tips today – Matches today from 15.10.
It’s going indoors for the tennis stars! Weather chaos is no longer a hindrance to our tournament planning. There will be no delays, but no exciting matches on Tuesday. The stars will play the 250s in Stockholm and Antwerp.
I’m particularly focusing on the tournament in the Swedish capital. Stan Wawrinka and Cameron Norrie are among those in action there on Tuesday. Although Wawrinka failed early on in Shanghai, he played two strong matches. In the late fall of his career, he wants to show off once again
In Stockholm, he doesn’t have an easy opening opponent in Brandon Nakashima. Norrie has dropped a few places in the world rankings due to injury, but has now returned to the court at the Challenger in Roanne after a three-month break.

Wawrinka, Norrie – tennis names that fans have definitely heard before. Just like Borg. Björn Borg is not only Sweden’s most successful player in history, but also one of the best ever to stand on the court.
His career has been over for more than 30 years. His son, Leo, is now active. He receives wildcards for the Swedish 250s tournaments in Bastad and Stockholm due to his family history. The Borg name continues to fill the rankings, even if Leo is only to be found outside the top 500.
The showdown came in the summer when he had to play Rafael Nadal. We’ve only ever seen Nadal against Borg on the games console. I gave you a successful bet on this famous match back then. Of course I want to build on that today.
This time, Borg is up against Alexandre Muller. I’d say he’s got a reasonably good draw. “Stan the Man” has to play Nakashima in the first round of Stockholm, for the third time in his career. He won the first two matches against the American, in Basel in 2022 and in Cincinnati in August 2023. Both times it went to the third set. Although Wawrinka was eliminated early in Shanghai, he also impressed against Cobolli after beating Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard.
Due to a fatal mistake by the chair umpire, the early break only came in the third set, instead of 15:15 a 0:30 was called, no one noticed it until the end of the match. Nakashima travels with three defeats from the last four games, but still as the clear favorite according to the odds.
