Raphael Varane (31) has announced the end of his career. In an Instagram post, the French center-back wrote that he would begin “a new life off the field”. Just two months ago, the previously unemployed defender signed with the Serie A club Como 1907, but according to “Le Parisien”, he has now hung up his boots due to recurring knee problems.
