Captain Bernardo Silva will leave Manchester City in the summer as expected. “Every beautiful story has an end,” said Pep Lijnders, coach Pep Guardiola’s assistant coach at the Citizens, about the 31-year-old, whose contract expires in the summer. The midfielder is being linked with FC Barcelona, Italy’s record champions Juventus Turin and clubs from the MLS. Since his move from AS Monaco to the island in 2017, Bernardo Silva has made 450 competitive appearances for Manchester, scoring 76 goals and providing 77 assists. He won 18 titles in the jersey of the Skyblues.
