Cajetan Lenz from VfL Bochum is about to move to TSG Hoffenheim in the summer, according to consistent media reports. For the 19-year-old talent, a transfer fee of around ten million euros is said to be on the table. Lenz has been playing for VfL since he was a child, went through all the youth teams at the Revierklub and also made his breakthrough in the men’s game. In April 2025, Bochum signed him to a professional contract until June 2029, and the defensive midfielder made 29 appearances in the 2nd Bundesliga this season. Lenz also played for various DFB youth teams, and he is currently in the squad for the German U21s, for whom he is still waiting for his debut.
