After the recent 1:5 debacle in the second division relegation battle against Hertha BSC, Eintracht Braunschweig had also been considering parting ways with coach Daniel Schnerning. However, after intensive talks, the Löwen bosses decided against dismissing him in the middle of the fight to stay in the league. The 41-year-old is therefore staying – and according to the official Löwen statement, “with full conviction.”
