Borussia Dortmund and head coach Niko Kovac are continuing their cooperation. The 54-year-old signed his new contract with the eight-time champions today, Tuesday. The working paper is valid until 30 June 2029. With Kovac, his brother Robert (52) and Filip Tapalovic (49) will also remain at BVB as assistant coaches. Kovac took over BVB in 11th place in the table in the spring of 2025 and led them into the Champions League.
