Without Millie Bright, Chelsea FC’s footballers have never won a title, and now the captain has finally ended her career at the age of 32. She is now “ready to say goodbye to football,” the 2022 European champion explained in a farewell video from her long-time club. She had “given everything I could, and I never wanted to fight for another coat of arms.” Bright had already retired from the national team last October after a total of 88 appearances.
