Luis Jakobi is moving to BSG Chemie Leipzig in the Regionalliga Nordost. The 24-year-old midfielder has signed a one-year contract with an extension option. Jakobi, who comes from the youth ranks of 1. FSV Mainz 05 and has already gained regional league and third division experience for SpVgg Greuther Fürth II and Türkgücü Munich, has been active abroad since 2022. Most recently, he played in Luxembourg for Differdange 03 and played two games for the first division club in the Champions League qualifiers. Chemists can now also draw on this wealth of experience.
