The Greek Georgios Donis (56) takes over the Saudi Arabian national team and succeeds Hervé Renard. This was announced by the country’s national association on Thursday, less than two months before the start of the World Cup. Donis, who was previously in charge of the Saudi Arabian club Al-Khaleej and had previously worked for other clubs in the kingdom, has a contract until July 2027.
